Honda begins sales of new Insight BEV in Japan

Honda Motor has started selling its all-new Insight battery-powered crossover vehicle in Japan, imported from its Chinese joint venture Dongfeng Honda Automobile Company. The new Insight BEV is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack and features the Honda Sensing advanced driver assistance system. It can be charged to 80% in 40 minutes and is priced at JPY 5.5 million. The company has set a sales target for the model in Japan.
