Human skeletal remains found near lake in Bengaluru outskirts

Human skeletal remains, including a skull, were discovered near a lake on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The remains, suspected to be of a woman, were found scattered across the dried lake bed and nearby areas. Police suspect the victim may have drowned in the lake earlier, with the skeletal remains surfacing after water levels receded during the summer. A saree piece was recovered from the spot, supporting the suspicion that the remains belong to a woman. A case has been registered and the remains are being sent for forensic analysis.
