NEET-UG: CBI closes in on NTA paper-setting group, arrests botany teacher from Pune

A botany teacher from Pune, appointed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an expert, has been arrested in the NEET-UG 2026 question paper leak case. The teacher, who had access to Botany and Zoology questions, allegedly disclosed them at coaching classes she conducted at her home in April. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) says the teacher's actions match the actual examination paper. The entire NTA paper-setting committee and senior officers are now under scrutiny.
