Hyderabad’s first solar-powered footpath project progresses slowly

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's solar-powered model footpath project is progressing slowly. The project, which aims to provide shade to pedestrians and contribute clean energy to the grid, is facing delays due to execution challenges and manpower shortages. The work has missed its deadline and is currently being carried out at a tardy pace, particularly at bus stops in Film Nagar. The project uses recycled plastic paver blocks and a 10-kilowatt peak solar grid system.
