Indonesia to cut ride-hailing companies' maximum commission taken from drivers to 8%

Indonesia will reduce the maximum commission ride-hailing companies can take from drivers to 8% from 20%. This change is based on a presidential regulation signed by President Prabowo Subianto. As a result, drivers' revenue share will increase to a minimum of 92% from 80%. Ride-hailing firms will also be required to provide accident and health insurance to their driver partners.
