Industry flags concerns on draft Pesticides Management Bill

An industry body of pesticide manufacturers has urged the Union Agriculture Secretary to make targeted changes in the draft Pesticides Management Bill. The changes aim to provide farmers with faster access to effective crop protection technologies. This move comes as the Union government plans to bring an amended Seeds and Pesticide Management Bill in the upcoming session of Parliament.
