Jowar procurement delay triggers rush and traffic jam at Adilabad market yard

Farmers rushed jowar produce to Adilabad market yard amid suspension of procurement due to shortages of gunny bags, transport, and storage facilities. The sudden influx caused traffic congestion as officials assured procurement would resume from Thursday. A large number of farmers shifted jowar produce to the market yard resulting in a traffic jam. Farmers were forced to wait in scorching heat wave conditions after their vehicles were not allowed to enter the market yard.
