KSRTC issues summer advisory for drivers and conductors

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has issued a summer advisory to its drivers and conductors. The advisory highlights the risks of fatigue, dehydration and heat-related illnesses. It recommends that staff carry sufficient drinking water, consume light and hydrating food, and drink fluids frequently throughout the day. Staff are also advised to keep Oral Rehydration Solution handy for emergencies and consume hydrating items such as buttermilk, coconut water and fruits.
