Ladakh groups seek meeting with Shah and steps to build trust

The Leh Apex Body has advocated for a trust-building exercise ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Ladakh. The body, an amalgam of socio-political-religious organisations, has sought a meeting with Mr. Shah during his two-day tour of the Union Territory. Top leaders of the Leh Apex Body have urged the government to convene a meeting of the high-powered committee set up under Mr. Shah's chairmanship.
