Ladakh to get its first master plan soon, announces L-G VK Saxena

Ladakh is set to get its first master plan for all-round development, announced Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena. The plan, being prepared in collaboration with the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, aims to promote tourism while maintaining local architecture and stopping haphazard construction. It will incorporate modern tools and techniques to monitor climate change and assess demographic, economic, environmental, and transport parameters at a city and regional level.
