Last passengers from hantavirus-hit ship evacuated; American tests positive

Evacuation planes carrying passengers and crew from the MV Hondius cruise ship have landed in the Netherlands. The planes carried 28 evacuees, including six passengers and 19 crew members, who are expected to stay in a quarantine facility near the Eindhoven airbase. A repatriated passenger has tested positive for hantavirus, a respiratory infection, and one of the 18 US passengers evacuated from the ship has also tested positive. Three people have died since the outbreak of the hantavirus on the ship.
