NEET 2026 leak: Supreme Court petition seeks court-monitored re-test, replace exam conducting agency

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a court-monitored re-test for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2026, which was cancelled following an alleged nationwide leak. The petition, filed by the Federation of All India Medical Association, requests replacing the exam conducting agency and bringing reforms to conduct future competitive examinations. The Centre has cancelled the NEET-UG 2026 examination and handed the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation to apprehend the accused persons.
