India's National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 is at the centre of a controversy over alleged irregularities. The National Testing Agency (NTA) received inputs regarding "malpractice" on May 7, and escalated the matter to central agencies on May 8. A probe is examining a document containing approximately 410 questions, with over 100 questions from Biology and Chemistry sections showing "striking similarities" to the actual exam paper. The similarities could account for nearly 600 of the 720 total marks.
