Polavaram to be developed as tourist site: Andhra CM

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced plans to transform the Polavaram major irrigation project into a major tourist destination. The project will feature hotels, shopping areas, and amenities, as well as boating facilities and water, rock, forest, and adventure sports. Officials have made significant progress on the project, with various components nearing completion, including the lining works of twin tunnels and approach channel earthwork works.
