President Murmu honours Telangana Cheriyal artist at Rashtrapati Bhavan

President Droupadi Murmu honoured a Telangana Cheriyal artist at Rashtrapati Bhavan during the 'Artist-in-Residence' programme. The artist, Dhanalakota Saikiran, received national recognition for his contribution to traditional Cheriyal painting, representing Telangana along with NP Gnaneshwar. Saikiran was presented with a replica of Rashtrapati Bhavan, permanently gold-plated with 24-carat gold, as part of the honour. He holds a Fine Arts degree and has received State and national awards for his work in Cheriyal art.
