Pritish Nandy Communications to receive Rs 2.55 crores in settlement linked to Kaante dispute: Report

Pritish Nandy Communications will receive a lump sum net amount of Rs 2.55 crores as part of a settlement with White Feather Films. The settlement was accepted by the Bombay High Court through an order, which was uploaded on April 23. The agreed amount is lower than the original claim of Rs 3.52 crores along with applicable interest. If the amount is not paid within 60 days, the original litigation proceedings would continue. The settlement brings an end to years of legal proceedings connected to a 2016 arbitration award.
