Remark on Kantara: Karnataka HC says it will pass appropriate orders accepting Ranveer Singh’s apology

The High Court of Karnataka has agreed to accept actor Ranveer Singh's undertaking to offer prayers at the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru and his written apology for allegedly mocking the sacred daiva tradition depicted in the film Kantara Chapter-1. The court will pass orders disposing of Singh's plea challenging the FIR registered by the High Grounds police in Bengaluru.
