Repair damaged marine ambulance, demand fishers

Members of the Beypore Fishing Harbour Action Committee will stage a dharna in front of the Fisheries department office at Beypore, seeking intervention to repair the damaged marine ambulance. The committee leaders claim the unfit marine ambulance has affected timely rescue in critical situations, citing an incident where four fishermen collapsed after inhaling toxic smoke from a boat's engine room.
