Robots beat human records at Beijing half-marathon

A humanoid robot finished the Beijing half-marathon in 50 minutes and 26 seconds, significantly faster than the human world record. The robot was built by Chinese smartphone maker Honor and won due to weighted scoring, despite not being the fastest overall. About 40% of participating robots competed autonomously, while 60% were remote controlled.
