Russia ignores Ukraine's unilateral ceasefire and attacks kindergarten

A kindergarten in the Sumy region was hit on Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of one woman. No children were present at the time. The incident occurred despite Ukraine announcing an open-ended ceasefire from midnight on Tuesday. Ukraine's president stated that Russia's actions were a breach of the ceasefire and an attempt to save lives. A series of attacks on Tuesday left 27 people dead across Ukraine, including 12 in Zaporizhzhia. Ukraine's foreign minister accused Russia of fake calls for a ceasefire, saying it only cares about military parades.
