Sci-fi or battlefield reality? Ukraine's bet on swarm drones

Ukraine's defence industry is working on swarm drones, a technology that allows groups of drones to act together and fulfil tasks without human intervention. The concept, also known as drone swarms, has generated both excitement and anxiety. Ukrainian military and defence figures claim progress in developing the technology, which could allow a few operators to deploy dozens or hundreds of attack craft simultaneously, overwhelming enemy defences. The main purpose is to save the lives of servicemen.
