Six-day traffic curbs at old Chalakudy bridge in Thrissur to trigger diversions

Traffic restrictions will be enforced along the national highway stretch at Koratty in Thrissur district. The restrictions come into effect due to the closure of the old bridge across the Chalakudy river for urgent repair works and load testing. Vehicular movement through the old west-side bridge will be halted, and vehicles will be diverted through the eastern bridge, where traffic will be regulated in a single-lane, two-way system.
