United Opposition defeated bid to harm Constitution: Kharge

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge expressed gratitude to opposition leaders for defeating a bill that sought to redistribute Lok Sabha seats. The bill aimed to expedite women's reservation. Kharge reiterated the demand for 33% reservation for women, as per the 'Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam' passed in 2023, to be implemented from the 2029 elections.
