South Africa to deport Robert Mugabe’s son over firearm offence

A magistrate in Johannesburg has ordered Bellarmine Mugabe to be deported from South Africa immediately after he pleaded guilty to two offences. Mugabe was fined $36,000 or faces a two-year prison sentence for brandishing a toy gun and being in the country illegally. He admitted to the charges, while his cousin, Tobias Matonhodze, pleaded guilty to attempted murder and other charges, and was sentenced to three years in prison.
