Suvendu aide's murder: Probe hinges on links with UP and UPI

A murder investigation is ongoing into the killing of a personal assistant to BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. The probe is focusing on links with Uttar Pradesh and a UPI payment made by the assailants at a toll plaza near Kolkata. A vehicle, a silver Nissan Micra hatchback, has been seized in connection with the murder and investigators are tracking a UPI payment made by its occupants at a toll booth. The Special Investigation Team has travelled to Uttar Pradesh to investigate the case.
