Swachha Andhra–Swarna Andhra drive to focus on water conservation

Visakhapatnam District Collector has directed officials to ensure effective conduct of the Swachha Andhra–Swarna Andhra programme, themed "Jalam… Jeevam" (Water is Life). The Collector stressed water conservation, efficient utilisation, reuse of treated water, and public participation. Officials are to implement an action plan, restore rainwater harvesting systems, clean tanks and canals, and conduct water audits in public institutions. Progress is to be documented and uploaded on the SASA application.
