Tamil Nadu: Rajnath Singh slams DMK over women’s bill defeat

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh slammed Congress and DMK over the defeat of amendments to the Nari Shakti Vandhan Adhiniyam. He stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will provide 33% reservation for women in Parliament and state assemblies. Singh also claimed that DMK stands for "Dushprayogam Muraikedu Kutram", which translates to misuse of power, irregularities, and crime in Tamil. He made these statements at poll rallies in Vasudevanallur and Radhapuram assembly constituencies.
