Telangana examines four options to link Tummidihatti with Yellampalli

The Telangana government is examining four alternative proposals to link Tummidihatti with Yellampalli to optimise Godavari water usage. Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy reviewed barrage restoration works and stressed timely completion before the monsoon. The proposals are being scrutinised for feasibility, cost, and efficiency, and a final decision will be taken after a review meeting with the Chief Minister. Restoration works at Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram barrages are also being prioritised.
