Tennis duo Sabalenka and Alcaraz sweep top Laureus sports honours

Tennis dominated the Laureus Awards as Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz were crowned Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year. They were honoured for their 2025 campaigns that saw them finish atop the women's and men's tennis rankings. Lamine Yamal won the Young Sportsperson of the Year award, making him the youngest athlete to have won two Laureus awards. Other winners included German football great Toni Kroos, retired gymnast Nadia Comaneci, and American snowboarder Chloe Kim.
