Thousands held by paramilitary RSF in Sudan’s el-Fasher: NGO

Hundreds of women and children, along with dozens of doctors, are being detained in poor conditions by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in el-Fasher, western Sudan. The Sudan Doctors Network reports that detainees are subjected to grave abuses, including field executions, and are suffering from injuries without receiving medical care. Detention centres have faced a cholera outbreak due to poor environmental conditions and a lack of clean water.
