Trump fires the entire National Science Board

The National Science Board (NSB) advises the president on the future of the National Science Foundation (NSF). It is an apolitical body. The president has attacked the NSF from the beginning, and it is not surprising that the president seeks to destroy the board that guides the Foundation. The NSB's role is to provide guidance, but its future composition is uncertain.
