Variety Hires Marlow Stern as Chief Correspondent

Award-winning journalist Marlow Stern has been hired as Chief Correspondent by Variety, where he will focus on covering the film industry, writing about Hollywood studios and talent agencies, and profiling leading artists and filmmakers. Stern will be based in New York City and report to Brent Lang, Variety's executive editor. He joins Variety with a background in reporting on the film industry at The Daily Beast and Newsweek.
