‘Vijay should not include AIADMK in Tamil Nadu government’: Congress MP Karti Chidambaram

Congress MP Karti Chidambaram has expressed concerns that inducting AIADMK legislators from a splinter group into the Tamil Nadu government will erode Chief Minister Vijay's goodwill and credibility. AIADMK MLAs led a breakaway faction against party general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, voting in favour of the confidence motion moved by Vijay. This led to 25 legislators from the rebel faction voting in favour of the motion, while 22 MLAs, including EPS, voted against.
