Railways asks Kerala to bear land acquisition costs for Sabari rail project

The Railway Board has asked Kerala to bear all expenses related to land acquisition for the proposed Sabari rail project, including establishment charges and contingency charges. The state government is also responsible for the expenses of opening special tahsildar offices in Ernakulam, Idukki, and Kottayam districts and the salaries of officials appointed in these offices.
