Big blow to AAP as Chadha, 6 more Rajya Sabha MPs quit, join BJP

Seven Rajya Sabha MPs of AAP, including Raghav Chadha and Harbhajan Singh, have joined the BJP, increasing its strength in the Upper House to 113 and the NDA's to 142. The group, which includes Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, and others, has submitted a letter to the RS chairman to merge with the BJP. AAP has accused them of betrayal and said it will seek their disqualification under the anti-defection act.
