Economist Ashok Lahiri, scientist Gobardhan Das from Bengal to join Niti Aayog as vice-chairman, member

Renowned economist Ashok Lahiri has been named as the Niti Aayog vice-chairman, while scientist Gobardhan Das has been appointed as a member of Niti Aayog. Mr. Lahiri is a former chief economic advisor to the government of India and a member of the 15th Finance Commission, currently serving as a BJP MLA in West Bengal.
