‘Cannot alter reality’: India on China's ‘fictitious’ names for border areas

India has rejected China's attempts to assign fictitious names to locations within Indian territory. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that such actions are mischievous and would not alter the sovereign status of these regions. India considers these places an integral and inalienable part of the country, and such attempts undermine efforts to stabilise ties between the two nations.
