Central Kerala reels under sizzling heat

Central Kerala is experiencing dry weather with the India Meteorological department forecasting high temperatures in various districts. Maximum temperatures of 38˚Celsius in Kottayam and 37˚Celsius in Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, and Thrissur are expected. The region has been reporting an average maximum temperature of 35˚Celsius, but humidity makes the temperature feel like around 45˚Celsius.
