Cyberabad police bust food adulteration rackets, 28 arrested in four months

Cyberabad Police have booked 22 cases of food adulteration and apprehended 28 people in a crackdown over four months. Authorities seized adulterated goods worth ₹64 lakh, exposing units using expired ingredients, synthetic colours, and unsafe chemicals. The police focused on areas including bakery products, edible oils, and meat products, and uncovered illegal manufacturing units producing ginger-garlic paste using harmful preservatives.
