Dozens killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine hours before ceasefire

Russia's attacks on Ukraine intensified hours before a ceasefire was due to take effect, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries across the country. Dozens of people were killed and injured in strikes on cities including Zaporizhzhya and Kramatorsk, with residential buildings and cars damaged. Fresh attacks also occurred in Dnipro, killing four people, and in the Poltava region, where four people were killed and 37 injured in missile and drone strikes.
