French national shows symptoms on return from hantavirus-hit ship

A French national who was being repatriated to France from a cruise ship that was struck by an outbreak has shown symptoms of the disease. The French citizen was immediately placed in strict isolation along with four other passengers who were also being repatriated. They were taken to the Bichat hospital in Paris, where they will be quarantined for 72 hours and given a full assessment before being sent home to self-isolate.
