French national shows symptoms on return from hantavirus-hit ship

A French national who was repatriated from a cruise ship hit by an outbreak of hantavirus has shown symptoms of the disease while on a chartered flight from Tenerife to Paris. The French national and four others were immediately placed in strict isolation upon arrival at Le Bourget Airport and taken to the Bichat hospital in Paris for quarantine and assessment. They will be quarantined for 72 hours and then sent home to self-isolate for 45 days.
