Hold performance audit of Vigilance tribunals, HC tells govt.

The Kerala High Court has directed the State government to conduct a performance audit of the two Vigilance tribunals in the State. The court also asked the government if there is a need to retain the tribunals. The court was hearing a plea regarding the disposal of a Vigilance probe pending before the tribunal in Kozhikode, citing unnecessary delay in disposing of matters.
