'Hope of getting justice shattered': Kejriwal refuses to appear before court, writes to HC judge

Delhi High Court has rejected a recusal plea in the Excise Policy case. The plea was made by AAP convenor, who claimed there was a grave apprehension of impartiality due to the judge's previous involvement in related cases. The judge, however, stated that recusal cannot be granted on perception or unfounded apprehension, warning it could erode public trust in the judiciary. The judge also defended her children's involvement in the legal profession.
