Malappuram’s Pang village bids tearful farewell to nine victims of Valparai tragedy

A group of teachers from Pang Chendi village in Malappuram district were involved in a tragic accident on Valparai Ghat Road near Pollachi. Nine members of the group, including seven women, were killed and four others injured when their van careened off the road and tumbled down the hillside. The bodies were brought to Government Higher Secondary School, Pang, for public viewing after postmortem procedures were completed.
