Man dies after shark attack on Australian coast

A man has been killed in an apparent shark attack off the south-west coast of Australia near Rottnest Island, off the city of Perth. The incident occurred on a reef popular with divers and fishermen, where the 38-year-old was bitten and brought ashore with serious injuries. He was given medical treatment but could not be resuscitated and died at the scene
