Medak: Newborn sold by hospital staff for Rs 1.5 lakh, rescued and reunited with parents

Police arrested two nurses and others for allegedly selling a newborn baby after falsely informing parents that the infant had died in a Medak hospital. The baby was traced to Siddipet and reunited with the parents 24 days later. Those who bought the child were also arrested and the infant was restored to the parents. The incident occurred after the parents grew suspicious following information that the nurses took the baby to a laboratory and then informed them that the baby died.
