NCRB data shows 99.9 per cent of POCSO accused known to victims in Telangana

NCRB data for 2024 shows 99.9 per cent of suspects in POCSO cases in Telangana were known to the victims, including family members, neighbours and friends. Over 2,100 girls were recorded as victims of sexual crimes during the year.
