One arrested, probe underway, says Karnataka minister after gelatin sticks found on PM Modi's convoy route

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the discovery of gelatin sticks along the route for Prime Minister Modi's visit to Bengaluru. The gelatin sticks were found nearly a km away from the NICE Road junction near Thathaguni, Kaggalipura, on Sunday morning. A police constable discovered the package during an anti-sabotage check, and the area was secured after the gelatin sticks were recovered. The National Investigation Agency has sought permission to probe the case and will assist local police in the investigation.
