Provide fixed fund of at least ₹1 crore for academic chairs in universities: Prof. Baraguru Committee to government

A committee has recommended that the State government provide a fixed sum of at least ₹1 crore for any academic chair to be established in universities. The government currently provides varying amounts for chair establishment, ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹5 crore, resulting in a lack of uniformity in the capital given to chairs.
